Why Chuck Evans Golf Performance Coaching
Since 1970, Chuck Evans Golf Performance has provided world-class golf instruction to golfers of all ages and abilities. These players have lowered their handicaps, improved their driving, iron play, and putting. They have learned how to hit pitch shots like the Pros and they have NO fear of bunker play!
Our base philosophy starts with what is the ball doing? What are the hands doing to affect the ball? What is the body doing to affect the hands?
Is the player hitting it solid? Are they controlling the path and clubface, and are they generating enough power to play from the tees they have chosen.
Our rule of thumb for choosing what tees to play from is based on a simple equation.
Take your average 5 iron distance and multiply it by 37…that’s the length we recommend you play from…and have more FUN! For example, if your average 5 iron distance is 175 yards then your course distance will be 6475 yards.
Chuck Evans has helped players from rank beginners to the game’s top touring professionals. Extraordinary knowledge combined with his ability to explain the 4 Simple Tenets in a clear and concise manner is why he is a GOLF Magazine Top 100 Teacher.
All told, Chuck has helped players from the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour, Nationwide Tour and various mini-tours with their games. But his heart is in helping junior golfers and players that are not already great players!
Chuck Evans Golf Performance is based in Phoenix Arizona and offers the best golf lessons and golf schools in Phoenix.
Junior Golf Academy
Chuck Evans, whose peers refer to as the “Teacher of the Teachers”, has personally designed the Chuck Evans Golf Performance Junior Program as an advanced, comprehensive coaching program for young golfers who are playing competitive golf and want to compete at the High School, collegiate level and beyond.
We also offer beginner or less experienced players to learn the basic fundamentals of golf. Students do NOT have to have any prior golf experience to be on this team, but they must be an attentive student and want to learn.
I learned more about the golf swing in the 2 1/2 days I spent at the “Secrets Of The Golfing Machine” workshop with Chuck and Lynn than I have in almost 70 years of golf.

My handicap index went from 8.4 to 4.1 after spending 2 days with Chuck Evans. I also received the “Most Improved Player” award from the Georgia Golf Association. I’m coming back to see Chuck and cut it in half again!
